Excitement for Apple and iPad fans

This Saturday saw the launch of a huge Apple Store in Covent Garden, which boasts the world’s largest stockpile of the Apple iPad, which earlier this year on its launch had people forming long queues in cities around the world to get their hands on it. There were more than three million iPads sold worldwide the 80 days after it was launched in the U.S. in April.

The launch saw the first 4,000 customers receiving a free T-shirt as well as other gifts and giveaways throughout the day, customers also got the chance to use iPod Touches to scan purchases without a till, while chip-and-pin machines on almost every table mean that lining up to fork over your cash will now become a thing of the past. It is also the first store to feature a ‘Set-up Room’, where an Apple employee will help you transfer all of your content and settings from an old PC or Mac onto your new machine before you leave the store in a quiet and private environment, they will also help you to set up your iPad and iPhone there too.
