Orange and O2 who both distribute the HTC Touch HD have at last changed the pricing structures for this fantastic handset so its now available for free on contracts over £25 per month (approximately).
This handset, labelled a major competitor to the iPhone has awesome hardware including a large high definition touch screen make. Meaning that this Free HTC is able to provide the ultimate portable cinematic experience.
The HTC Touch HD is also well connected using the latest HSDPA (high speed downlink packet access) technology giving broadband equivalent download speeds of upto 7.6 MBPS. As well as GSM, GPRS, EDGE and WiFi.
When Windows Mobile 6.1 is introduced with all this high bandwidth connectivity the opportunities are endless. Syncronise with Microsoft Exchange, make use of Web Browsing, chat with friends over Instant Messenger, watch videos over YouTube, browse Google Earth or make use of GPS services.
I’ve never really been a fan of windows based mobiles. I highly rate blackberrys though
