HTC has released details of its up and coming Smartphone the HTC Snap. Styled very much like the Blackberry 8900 Curve, the HTC Snap ditches the full touch screen interface and swaps it for a full QWERTY keyboard. The device also has a trackball navigation button and is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.
As you would expect from a HTC Smartphone, the Snap is quad band, has HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity and a pretty good 2 megapixel camera. The keys are slightly domed to make it easier to type and the 2.4 inch screen effortlessly displays all your content.
A microSD card slots is built in for storing files, which can be transferred via Bluetooth or the included USB cable. GPS is also standard as well as Pocket Office with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and various other document readers.
The HTC Snap measures 116.5 x 61.5 x 12 mm and weighs around 120 grams, with a standby time of up to 480 hours and talk time of up to 8.5 hours.
The HTC Snap is due to be released in Q2 of 2009; there is currently no word on pricing.

2 mega pixel on a new camera pointless. Why not give at 5 mega pixel camera and make it a better seller
