iPhone 2.1 Software available now
Apple has released their latest update for the iPhone that fixes lots of bugs, as well as adding other improvements to the device. The new 2.1 software update can’t come soon enough for many users of the iPhone and aims to fix call failures and improve battery life.
Apple state that the new update will lower dropped and failed call rates, improve battery life and make it easier to email and text. Other updates include fixes to stop the iPhone crashing when using third party applications, faster searching through contacts and the integration of the new Genius playlist application.
To get the update you must have the latest version of iTunes (iTunes 8), then simply connect your iPhone to your computer, click on the iPhone icon and the Check for Update button.
