LG GD900 – full of features and a see-through keypad

LG has announced more details on its up and coming mobile device, the GD900. The LG GD900 caused a bit of a stir earlier this year when it was previewed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona back in February, mainly due to its transparent touchscreen keypad.

The keypad, being touch sensitive can not only text and dial numbers, it can also be used to drag and drop objects and draw, with the effects being displayed on the screen. The GD900 will be quad-band and feature both 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, a 3 inch display, 1.5GB of internal memory with an expandable microSD card slot and an 8 megapixel camera.

If that wasn’t enough, the LG GD900 also has a secondary video call camera, GPS receiver, TV-out and an impressive multimedia player with FM radio. Bluetooth and USB connections are also included to transfer files.

There is no news on a release date or price at the moment, but it is expected to hit the stores sometime in the next few months.
