LG KP500 Cookie review

LG have certainly been giving us some nice mobile phone of late, and one of its newest devices is the LG KP500 Cookie. The best news of all is that the KP500 Cookie is available on pre-pay for under a hundred pound when you by a £10 airtime card.

The specifications are pretty good, as the KP500 is quad band and boasts a 3 inch touch sensitive screen with LG’s Active Flash user interface, Handwriting recognition, microSD card slot and Bluetooth Connectivity.

A 3 megapixel camera is also included as well as a built-in stylus pen for navigation or writing. A media player is also featured, which can play various video and audio files combined with an FM radio if you fancy a change.

Connection to a computer is done via a USB 2.0 cable, which makes it easy to transfer files to the device. The LG KP500 Cookie measures 106 x 55 x 12mm so it’s not overly big and weighs in at only 89 grams.

There are of course a few omissions being towards the lower end of the market, including no 3G or Wi-fi, which could put some people off, but all in all the LG KP500 Cookie is a functional and stylish touchscreen phone and is available from free on contract or around £99 for the pre-pay version.

Shame about the lack of WiFi though as its a really useful feature.
