The LG Optimus One is a great entry level budget smartphone, operating on Android 2.2. It fulfils all expectations of a smartphone, but does compromise some features. The model offers full web functionality and connectivity, great apps, a music player and FM radio, as well as great battery life and a basic camera.
The device feels solid and on first impressions looks good. The screen is quite large, measuring 3.2 inches across, with a decent resolution. Colour resolution is lower than other smartphones, at only 256,000 colours, but the screen is bright. The device has an alphanumeric and QWERTY keyboard, both with word prediction. The phone is quite quick with a 600MHz processor which makes it quite responsive for a cheaper phone.
The web browser is fast and, in the right circumstances, can download at a speed of up to 7.2 MB per second making the Optimus One perfect for the mobile internet. There is a music player, which isn’t as functional as those found on other smartphones, but most definitely does a satisfactory job.
There are many great LG Optimus One deals available on the net, many with cheap contracts.
