When looking for a new mobile phone or an upgrade you need to make sure you are getting the best mobile phone deals available, as there are so many options now. If you are currently on a pay monthly contract basis you normally get a call from your provider a couple of months before your contract is up offering you an upgrade early. Now although this may seem great especially if your current mobile is not working as well as it should you need to be aware that if you upgrade and change your contract although you will receive your phone now your contract won’t change until you previous one is up.
If however you wish to leave your provider to go to another one or change to pay as you go you need to make sure you cancel your contract at least a month before your contract is up, some companies can do this over the phone however its worth remembering some only accept written proof from yourself that you wish to cancel the contract. You will probably find that if you want to leave your current provider they will try everything to persuade you to stay if you are adamant you wish to leave then stand your ground however if you are not that bothered sometimes threatening to leave can mean some providers ‘asking their supervisor’ to give you a better mobile phone deal to make you stay.
