Nokia 5030 XpressRadio

As part of their XpressMusic range announced earlier this month, the Nokia 5030 XpressRadio is the baby of the group and specifically targeted at emerging and prepay markets. The device itself is a very basic phone with no camera or memory card slot, but does have an FM radio with dedicated keys.

The Nokia 5030 XpressRadio is a candybar shaped device with a 1.8 inch colour screen, a 5-way navigation button and can store up to 1000 contact numbers. It is styled taking inspiration from the XpressMusic range with vibrant red accents mixed with a gloss back exterior.

Being a pretty simple device, the 5030 XpressRadio is a compact device, measuring 108 x 45 x 15mm and weighs only 82 grams. Battery life has a standby time of up to 525 hours and a talk time of 10 hours when fully charged.

The Nokia 5030 XpressRadio is sure to be a hit with the emerging markets and with some prepay customers, but its lack of features may limit it in the UK market.

The 5030 XpressRadio is due out in Q2 of this year, in either red or graphite colour combinations.
