The newest touch-enabled XpressMusic device from Nokia, the 5530 will be released tomorrow (11th August) as both a contract and pre pay phone it has been announced. The device will be sold exclusively through the Carphone Warehouse for six weeks and then rolled out to other merchants.
The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic will be available from free on contract and for a very reasonable £129.99 for the pre pay version when bought with £10 airtime.
The 5530 XpressMusic is a cut down version of the phenomenally popular 5800 XpressMusic and features a 2.9 inch touchscreen display, 3.2 megapixel camera and Wi-Fi connectivity. Being an XpressMusic handset, the 5530 sports an impressive media player including an FM radio with RDS and a 3.5mm headphone socket for ease of use.
The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic will be available in a range of colours including, blue on white, red on black, yellow on white and pink on white, but it is unsure which colours will be offered by the Carphone Warehouse on its release.
