Starting in August, Orange will release the LG GD910 Watch Phone in the UK. The 3G-enabled phone is reported to be the first amongst the new line of ultra-modern mobile phones to be distributed in the market.
The features of the new LG Watch Phone include a 1.45-inch LCD touchscreen, a Bluetooth headset, video-calling capacity, a web browser, and a built-in speaker. It is said to make the dream of owning a state-of-the-art watch phone a reality.
The watch phone will be released by Orange on a ‘Pay-As-You-Go’ basis for a limited time only. The price detail is still undisclosed, but some reports mention that the phone will be available for about £500.
According to Orange UK CEO Tom Alexander, the LG GD910 Watch Phone is the must-have gadget for 2009. Each ultra-modern phone is handcrafted, extremely limited, and will surely attract attention. Alexander also said that Orange aims to become the best-loved communications brand in the UK.
In an interview with T3 magazine, Alexander stated that securing the most original devices is necessary to become the leader of innovation in the mobile communications market. He also said that the company is planning to come up with other multimedia packages to become at a par with the innovative devices that they already offer. Three new market-leading devices are scheduled to be released by the UK mobile network company before the end of the year.

Don’t bother orange, they’ll only appeal to the Chinese market
