Overview of Samsung Mobile Phones

Samsung has been extremely successful in recent times with its mobile phone division, and now is the second biggest company in this market sector.  They have achieved this by focusing on two core aspects.  These are being at the cutting edge of mobile phone technology and also producing unique, distinctive designs for their mobiles.  Their decision to embrace the Android OS in their smartphones has also proved to be a very smart.  This has enabled the Galaxy line of mobiles to be successful all over the world.  Considering they only started in this market sector in 1991, their rise to prominence has been very rapid.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace is a solid, mid-range smartphone.  It has an 800 MHz processor and a reasonable 3.5-inch touchscreen.  The resolution is only 320 by 480 pixels that does not compare to the latest smartphones, but it is considerably cheaper.  It has a GPS with Google Maps, so makes a great satnav device.  Its web browser is fast and it has all the connectivity you need, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HSDPA.

The Galaxy S2 has taken its place in the long list of successful Samsung mobiles.  The design of the mobile has resulted in one of the slimmest models available, with it only being 8.49mm.  They made the decision to put a dual-core processor in order to stand out from their competitors.  The touchscreen is a sizeable 4.3 inches.  Combined with the latest Super AMOLED tech, it results in a crystal clear display of text and images.  The camera is well spec’d, coming in at eight megapixels.  It is also capable of recording full HD video clips.

The Samsung Galaxy Mini is a compact smartphone that complements the current range of Samsung mobile phones.  It is not really small though, with the screen measuring 3.14 inches, but the price is good for this budget smartphone.
