Samsung’s newest entry-level phone the E2120

High-end phones are extremely popular nowadays, but the mobile phone market is still dominated by entry-level phone which are more accessible and affordable for the general public. Taking this into consideration, Samsung has announced its latest entry-level phone called the E2120.

This candy bar styled device features a 1.52 inch colour display, Bluetooth connectivity and a rear mounted VGA camera. The E2120 also features 9MB of internal memory, as well as a microSD card slot for saving music and video files on.

Trying to cram as much in as they can, Samsung have included an mp3 player and FM radio along with a range of enjoyable games; more games can be downloaded. Files can be transferred to the device via Bluetooth or the included USB 2.0 cable.

The Samsung E2120 measures a compact 105 x 45 x 15mm and weighs in at just 74 grams, and battery life is up to 560 hours on standby with 10 hours of talk time.

There is no word on pricing yet, but expect it to be pretty cheap; the Samsung E2120 is set for release in Q3 2009.
