Samsung M7600 BeatDJ – full of music features

Samsung has announced a new version of its BEAT mobile phone, the M7600 BeatDJ. The Samsung BeatDJ looks like the Motorola A3100 with its oval design and touchscreen display, but that is where the similarity ends.

The Samsung M7600 BeatDJ is a fully fledged multimedia device, capable of playing the most popular music and video formats and comes complete with the BeatDJ application, which allows users to mix, scratch and remix their favourite tracks by adding sound effects and changing beats.

The BeatDJ also benefits from the B&O ICEpower amplifier, virtual surround sound and built-in speakers, and also features a standard 3.5mm headphone socket. The 2.8 inch touchscreen is capable of displaying all of the phones functions and is particularly useful when watching videos.

The Samsung BeatDJ also features a 3 megapixel camera, built-in GPS receiver and HSDPA and Bluetooth connectivity. As well as being a quad-band device for international use, the Samsung M7600 BeatDJ also has a microSD card slot with up to a 16GB capacity.

There is still no word on a release date for the BeatDJ; availability and price are still to be confirmed.
