Sony Ericsson has announced a new phone for their Cyber-Shot line, the C903. The Sony Ericsson C903 is a slider phone and has a 5 megapixel camera hidden under a sliding back panel, which is reminiscent of Sony’s T series digital cameras.
The C903 also features a pretty SE standard 2.4 inch TFT display with a scratch resistant surface, HSDPA and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity and a GPS receiver, as well as face and smile recognition and geotagging for photos.
The device is quad-band, so will work worldwide and features 150MB of internal memory, plus a Memory Stick Micro card slot. The C903 measures a compact 97 x 49 x 16mm and weighs 96 grams, which makes it a bit less cumbersome than alternative handsets.
All of the normal Sony Ericsson applications are there to, including a multimedia player, FM radio, You Tube application and built-in handsfree.
The Sony Ericsson C903 will be available in Q2 of 2009; there is no word on pricing or availability yet.
