Sony Ericsson W715

Sony Ericsson last month announced its newest walkman branded phone the W715. This Vodafone exclusive handset is styled very much like the W705 and G705, but boasts both GPS support and Walkman music functionality.

The Sony Ericsson W715 features a 2.4 inch TFT display, 3.2 megapixel camera and Wi-Fi connectivity. Also included with this quad-band device, is a fully functional media player, accelerometer for auto-rotating and a Memory Stick Micro card slot that is capable of supporting up to 4GB cards.

The Sony Ericsson W715 measures 95 x 47.5 x 14.3mm and weighs in at just under the 100 gram mark. Battery power is also impressive with a stand-by time of up to 400 hours and talk-time of around 10 hours.

The W715 is expected to be out in Q1 of this year, and will be available is black or silver. There is no word on pricing yet, but expect this Vodafone only handset to be competitively priced.
